Today, our museum hosted an unusual event – a one-day exhibition "Charge Katyusha" , which featured paintings by more than 20 contemporary artists.
The authors dedicated their works to the famous Catherine, who made a significant contribution to the history of Russia. The image of Katyusha was embodied in a variety of artistic directions: from realism to pop art, from impressionism to modern trends.
Artists with the help of various expressive means sang in the image of Katyusha the beauty and strength of the Motherland. Among the heroines of the portraits are such famous women named Ekaterina as Princess Dashkova, Rina Zelenaya, Ekaterina Maximova, Ekaterina Furtseva, Ekaterina Vasilyeva, Ekaterina Klimova, Ekaterina Andreeva, Ekaterina Spitsa, Ekaterina Semenchuk, Ekaterina Gordon, Ekaterina Barnabas.
At the exhibition, the portrait and its prototype met: Ekaterina Strizhenova became the heroine of the painting Anastasia Matveeva. The TV presenter appreciated the high professional level of the artist and thanked her for the excellent work.
A gift for the guests of the event was the performance of the group of St. Petersburg. The musicians presented their song "Katyusha", which was written for the celebration of Victory Day.
